Grace Roots: Pathways to Wellness was created to address the opiate addiction crisis in Josephine County. MISSION STATEMENT: To contribute to the health and safety of our community by returning opiate-dependent citizens to healthy, productive lives through a continuum of services. Grace Roots’ efforts so far have resulted in: • The Healthy Food Festival, held annually at the fairgrounds. • The Grants Pass Treatment Center, a medication-assisted treatment center for opiate addiction. The center opened in January 2017. • The beginnings of a project to open a residential drug treatment center in Josephine County. Grace Roots is run almost entirely by volunteers, and we invite the community to become involved in what we’re doing by attending a meeting.
